Plan a journey

The line 9 of the Paris subway allows you to go from the Pont de Sèvres station located in the town of Boulogne-Billancourt, in the south-west of the capital, to the Mairie de Montreuil station , which is located in the eastern suburbs of Paris. Construction work on line 9 began in 1911 and the first section of this line was opened to passengers in 1922. This section was limited to the route from Trocadéro to Exelmans. Line 9 as we know it in 2022 was not completed until 1937, by extending the line to Mairie de Montreuil.
The total length of line 9 is 19.5 kilometers, which is covered in 52 minutes and passes through 37 stations. It is one of the busiest Paris subway lines, with nearly 140 million passengers per year.
